Major General Meyer is currently Chief Executive Officer of The Heckler & Koch Group (H&K), a leading private international firearms manufacturer with facilities in Oberndorf, Germany, London, England, and Sterling, Virginia.
Previously, Major General Meyer served The Allied Defense Group as Chief Executive Officer and President, as well as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President.
A versatile senior executive, Major General Meyer has a strong record in managing complex and massive operations, including his role as Chief Executive Officer of the Army's $1.3 billion worldwide morale and recreation businesses. Later he applied his team-building and strategic planning management skills to his assignment as the Army's top public affairs officer. His versatile background includes developing and managing large operating budgets and creating fiscal efficiencies to maximize results.
He is a graduate of Florida State University, with a Master of Arts degree from Sam Houston State University. He also graduated from Duke University's Advanced Management Program. He is the author of Company Command: The Bottom Line, an authoritative leadership text widely used throughout the Defense Department.
